Bryone Peters

Masters student (Zoology)

Contact information: bpeters@sun.ac.za

Bry started with a diploma in Analytical Chemistry but had second thoughts about this career path as it seemed to be too profit- orientated. She then turned her attention to a conservation focused degree by completing a BSc in Ecology and later an Honours degree in Entomology - a better fit with her personality. Currently, she is completing a Master’s degree in the Department of Botany and Zoology. Yay hay! Her research will factor in behavioural entomology, chemistry and the ecology of the globally invasive Argentine ant. Completing a multidisciplinary project involving Analytical chemistry will be beneficial and has potential to filter into many other important entomological problems that we are facing today.
